This project is located in Shanghai, the shape of the garden is relatively special, basically leaning towards an equilateral triangle, the building is just in the middle of the triangle, when we look out of the interior space, we will find that the edge line of each garden and the building are not parallel，It will bring a sense of visual imbalance, so to solve this problem, we design some corners of the garden to weaken it, and through the treatment of landscape walls and plant boundaries, the triangular garden is processed into a relatively square garden .

The shape of the garden can be clearly seen from the plan view . We solve the problem by dividing the leisure space into different areas , such as the courtyard landscape garden that brings tranquility and peace to the whole space . Or perhaps a casual seating area with an outdoor fireplace ； There is also a lawn leisure area that can accommodate a large number of people for gatherings . The triangular movement line is matched with plants to make the transition .

Main recreational area

Different spaces carry different seasons to the needs of garden space , garden space with the change of season will have a different feeling .

When designing outdoor dining spaces, staying in the garden is a relatively long time, so the surrounding landscape design is especially important. 

When walking from the foyer into the garden, we did a denial, with the aim of having a better visual interaction between the foyer and the garden.

The night lights include landscape elements and we wanted to create a better environment for the dining space .

Waterscape

The water feature uses a curtain wall built with night-time star lights and extends to a pool of shallow water and small springs, offering great viewing value both outdoors and indoors.

The design of stepping stones in the pool ； It forms a special L-shaped water system landscape , greatly increasing the viewing area .

Small details were also designed below the water feature, because the owner's children are still young, so stainless steel mesh is laid under the water feature to ensure safety, and the mesh can be subsequently removed without affecting the overall effect of the water system.

In this space, the rear of the water curtain wall, there is actually an electric sub-meter, and there will be some noise; By reducing the noise through the flow of the pool, the sound can be incorporated into our overall environment and will not be affected by the noise of the motor when moving inside the garden.

At night, the combination of specially customized lights and flowing water systems can add the best viewing value of light in the indoor space, while also being a good anchor for the dynamics of the water scene.

Campfire recreation area

What was the experience of moving the fireplace outside in the garden, enjoying a poetic evening, a fire in winter, burning in our own garden; Three or two friends and family are sitting in the garden in the fall and winter without the summer mosquitoes, on a fire, with a blanket over their bodies and a drink of tea. It's especially pleasant.

Leisure card seat and bonfire fireplace , all poetic collocation , is also a new attempt in the leisure area ； In such a space to chat , the fireplace undoubtedly does not add to the atmosphere of the space , but also can be appropriate to the environment to play a warming role .

In order to make the environment around this space more beautiful , we matched some plants around , which will open different colors of flowers in different seasons ； At the same time , the package of the space is increased , making people feel more secure and more relaxed in this space .

It's also a nice view from within.

The courtyard garden

The patio, also known as the well of the sky; It is named because the compound has rooms on all sides, enclosing the open air space that resembles a deep well. Unlike traditional ancient Chinese architecture, the modern courtyard inherited the advantages of the traditional courtyard and abandoned the problem of the dark and humidity of the conventional courtyard.

Mixed wood with its vitality and natural atmosphere , brings a sense of peace to the whole space ； Let the courtyard become a world of its own . You can taste the Zen of heaven , man and nature without leaving home .

The difficulty of the courtyard garden space design is that there are too many functional spaces around , equipment rooms , laundry rooms , building and parking spaces ； In order to solve the problems of these landscape surfaces , the facade of the functional space uses wood decoration as a background isolation method to weaken these functional functions .

Carport

When designing a private house landscape , parking spaces must be considered ； When facing a parking space , there is a way to have a parking gate . Often , it is considered to save space as much as possible .

It can be seen that it is a sliding door . When the door is not opened , it can form a screen background and blend into the overall environment . When the door is opened and closed , the space can be completely opened , and the daily travel of the vehicle is also very convenient .

Enter the house

Not only does the entry door satisfy security easily through these practical functions, but it should also display its charm to complement the home.

We used a black high-end texture that is pleasing to the eye and at the same time provides a relaxing space。With parking space self-color, not a good background .

Plant landscapes

Because the functional areas are dispersed, the plant arrangements also revolve around the building, without separating the garden, and with the trolley, a triangle of motion lines spread around the trail.

The plant flower border connects different spaces , and the part around the building is made of white gravel with succulents , miscellaneous wood and other easy-to-maintain plants .

Different recreational space areas are paired with shrubs, small and medium-sized trees, including laurel trees that grow on their own in the courtyard for location transplants; In the golden autumn and September, the cinnamon flowers bloom, which adds spice and charm to the garden.
